Overview
Choose Tension Pneumothorax · Obstructive Shock in Hemodynamic State. The right-lung example shows tachycardia, hypotension, low flow, a raised JVP and impaired oxygenation without obligatory pulmonary edema.
Chest tube → Decompress removes pleural obstruction and returns isolated pneumothorax toward normal. Other conditions, manual vitals and interventions remain. Not performed restores the original teaching state.
Positive-pressure ventilation can further impair filling before decompression. Oxygen improves gas exchange but does not relieve obstruction. This is a successful endpoint, not a procedural simulator; suspected tension with instability must not wait for imaging.
