How does the chest X-ray respond to the model?

Congestion, breathing and selected devices change the lung schematic.

Overview

The CXR graphic responds to modeled filling-pressure/congestion changes and follows the respiratory cycle. Increasing congestion produces a progressively hazier lung appearance.

The acute severe MR example emphasizes the right lung while retaining some left-lung edema. IABP selection also adds a device-position cue. These are illustrative patterns, not a diagnostic radiograph.

Show or hide Chest X-ray in Traces. Compare it with wedge pressure, oxygenation and the pleth, while recognizing that a real radiograph is not determined by a single pressure number.
