Intervention workflows

How do antiarrhythmics, cardioversion and defibrillation work here?

Use Rate & rhythm for drugs and Electricity for shocks.

Overview

Rate & rhythm contains the antiarrhythmic rescue actions alongside rate-modifying drugs. Electricity contains cardioversion, defibrillation and temporary pacing.

The treatment logic checks the starting rhythm and underlying condition to choose a modeled response. Successful conversion need not produce normal pressure or normal cardiac function. Persistent structural disease can remain after the electrical rhythm changes.

Use the response message and paused intervention reference. The model illustrates selected conversion and proarrhythmic outcomes; it is not a full resuscitation algorithm or a guarantee of return of circulation.
