Overview

This index connects the public model reference to the library modules that implement it. File names are provided for maintainers inspecting a source backup; they are not links to a public code repository. Documentation describes current behavior, including intentionally simplified or unsupported physiology.

The Lab page assembles these modules into the shared simulation state. Specialized components render pressure, ECG, overlay, Wiggers/PV, measurements, imaging and ventilation. The academic, tutorial, mystery and quiz pages select their teaching context around that engine.

Library ownership

Each library module has an explicit documentation home. The build-time coverage test reports newly added or missing modules; it does not certify the clinical validity of their coefficients.

Presentation and routes

The Lab is assembled in app/page.tsx. The key display components are pressure-table, aortic-tracings, twelve-lead, hemodynamic-overlay, wiggers-diagram, pressure-volume-view, echo-view, chest-xray, venous-ultrasound, ventilator-panel and cardiac-output. Inspection components consume the same signals instead of creating alternate physiology.

Routes under academic-halfday, tutorial, mystery and quiz provide teaching workflows. Help articles are rendered by app/help/[slug]/page.tsx. Shared header/footer/navigation and CSS govern layout; UI primitives do not calculate physiology.

Access, progress and search

The learning-access server gate protects the applicable Learn/case content; it is separate from public model documentation and generic disease presets. The Help index does not expose protected case narratives or embed access secrets. Local teaching progress and interface preferences are presentation state.

Help search tokenizes the written catalogue with aliases and bounded spelling tolerance. It indexes summaries, keywords, article sections, tables and link labels. It ranks close matches; no-match queries return the library. It does not generate medical answers or invoke a GPT API.

For maintainers

When changing a relationship, update its numerical test, this topic and the relevant clinical-source entry. Treat a file-to-topic mapping as the start of review: prose and examples still need human/source verification. Use the original implementation to inspect exact coefficients, limits and control flow.
